A Brief History of Us.

We met at Colorado State University in 2018, but didn’t start dating until we left college a few years later. Drew moved to Denver in 2020 and began his career as a car salesman and Isabelle followed a year later, working as a tech recruiter. We were at this point in our careers, where we started to seriously ask ourselves – so what’s the next step? Moving in together? Marriage? Buying a house?

These questions were so normal, but we were never interested in normal. Instead, we had a longing to travel. We watched some of the most inspiring YouTubers do it – so why couldn’t we try?

One morning in Spring 2023, Drew woke up and said: “why don’t we just save our money, rack up the credit card points, and go travel after our leases are up.” And so we did just that. We said goodbye to beautiful Colorado and our friends and families, sold our cars and most of our belongings, packed our bags and made the leap in Fall 2023. Using Isabelle’s family home in Stuttgart, Germany and Drew’s St. Louis home in between traveling, we’re on a mission to explore as much of the globe as we can while staying on $50 daily budget, and posting the adventure on YouTube and Instagram.
